往Perth機場的計程車司機是個老先生，愉快的和我聊起天來。他問我為何棄朋友而去，我說老娘時日無多。

「You have any plan back to ur country?」

『Probably find a job, just as everybody does.』我有點感概的說。

他好像發現我的感慨。

「If you enjoy the lifestyle here, just don't forget the feeling. 
   Except a JOB, you still have to enjoy your life. 
   A SMILE for everyday is more important than the money. Don't forget that.」

我告訴他我以前的工作，老先生說，亞洲人普遍都以令人敬佩的精神努力工作、努力賺錢，買車、買房，但享受生活應該比那些東西還要重要。

『Life is short.』我說。

「Right, just like "THAT"!」他彈了一下手指。「You'll never know which day is your last day.」

他又說，回國後千萬不要忘記英文，想辦法讓自己維持在能一直不斷保持說英文的狀態下，這對我的工作、我未來的旅行，都非常非常有幫助。

我們聊到無法停止，但車已經到了機場。他幫我從後車廂拿出小綠和阿吉。

「Don't you wanna play a song to entertain me?」

『Ha! Maybe next time!』和他聊天後，我的心情大好，愉快的說。

「Ha ha! Maybe next time you'll have a band when I see u!」

『Maybe!』我大笑。
